A low-cost bus company has added a new service from London to Pearson Airport in Mississauga.

FlixBus, a German bus company that has expanded to North America, has added service seven days a week between Pearson Airport in Mississauga and London, Ontario, according to a press release from FlixBus.

The bus leaves from downtown London or the Western University campus and makes a stop in downtown Kitchener before continuing on to the airport.

There are also routes that go to Union Station in Toronto and through to Scarborough.

Prices start from $21.99 (one way) and increase depending on the route.

The bus stops at the ground level at Terminal 1 at the airport.

“Adding service at Pearson International is an enormous convenience boost to travellers arriving and departing from Canada’s busiest airport,” said Alex Cornman, business development manager for FlixBus.

The addition of routes at Pearson comes on the heels of FlixBus announcing new service from downtown Toronto to London via FlixBus’ new partner, Eastern Charters. The new route includes a round trip through Kitchener, providing downtown to downtown connections.

The connection between London and Kitchener is especially beneficial to college students in those cities who previously did not have convenient service between the two cities, FlixBus notes.

In conjunction with partner brand Greyhound, customers can now book travel with FlixBus and Greyhound on either brands’ websites and apps and benefit from an extended network reaching more than 2,300 destinations across North America.
