New item arrives at Costco food courts in Canada

Those who love getting something from Costco’s food courts now have a new item to choose from.

It comes after the retail giant posted a blurred image of an item on social media earlier this month and asked, “Any guesses on what’s coming soon to your local Costco food court?”

The post received numerous responses, with shoppers guessing a variety of items including coffee, chicken wings, chicken bake, and a vegetarian option.

A couple days later, Costco made the official announcement: “The reveal you’ve actually been waiting for. Our new caramel brownie sundae will be coming soon to your local Costco food court.”

Included was an image of the sweet treat.

The post received mixed responses, with some saying it looks good, but plenty of people saying they wished it was something else.

“Coffee would have been a dream come true but I’ll accept this one,” costcofindscanada said in a comment.

“Coffee! We need coffee! Not more ways to get sugar in,” another user said.

Others said they wished it had been chicken bake, chicken wings, or a salad.

This week, Costco announced that the caramel brownie sundae has arrived and is now available at your local Costco.

A video posted on Instagram shows how it’s made.

“The caramel brownie sundae has arrived at our food court! Have you tried it yet?⁣” the caption asked.

Like the previous post, this one too has received mixed responses and requests for something else.

But some users said they did have one and enjoyed it.

“The brownies pieces are really good quality. Love it,” one person wrote.

Others said they were excited to give it a try.
