New Healthy Planet store in Ajax to introduce Healthy Planet Kitchen concept

Health and wellness retail chain Healthy Planet is growing by four this weekend, including the grand opening of a store in Ajax that will include the launch of the franchise’s Healthy Planet Kitchen concept.
Healthy Planet is opening three stores Friday in Little Italy and Scarborough and in Ajax at the Durham Centre shopping plaza at 140 Kingston Road. The fourth store in London has its grand opening Saturday.
The public is invited to the events, which will include ribbon cutting ceremonies, a store-wide sale, contests and free gift bags to the first 100 people. The Ajax event will happen at 3 p.m. with Ajax MPP Patrice Barnes in attendance.
“We are excited to support our customers with the grand opening of four new stores this weekend,” said Muhammad Mohamedy, General Manager of Healthy Planet Canada. “Health should never come with a price tag. Our mission is to help Canadians live healthier every day.”
Mohamedy said the company is adding a new range of health and wellness products, including supplements, vitamins, sports nutrition, health foods, organic groceries, bath, beauty, pet supplements, eco-friendly home products and fresh prepared food.
Mohamedy said he is “especially proud” to launch the Healthy Kitchen concept in Ajax, which will feature a chef-inspired menu of soups, salads, sandwiches, wraps, bowls, pizzas, fresh-squeezed organic juice, smoothies, breakfast items, baked goods, and snacks, prepared from scratch every day.

“Our aim is to make it simple for our customers to prioritize their health and wellness with a menu that is predominantly organic, delicious and exclusive to our kitchen,” he added.
