The brand behind one of Ontario’s first legal cannabis shops has opened a brand new location in Hamilton’s downtown core.

Relm Cannabis, a recreational cannabis retailer, opened the door to its new location at 245 King Street E earlier this month.

“We’re excited to launch our newest Relm store in Hamilton,” said Relm Operations Manager Mara Conacher in a press release.

“Building on our success in Burlington, this new location at 245 King Street East is centrally located and offers 750 square feet of retail space for our clients to shop a wide variety of cannabis brands.”

The store sells legal cannabis products, including pre-rolls, edibles, concentrates, and accessories in what promises to be a “non-judgmental and inclusive space for everyone.”

There are plans for a second Relm shop in East Hamilton, but the date for opening is yet to be determined.

Relm’s Burlington location was one of the first five legal cannabis retailers in Ontario and the company says it is planning a significant expansion in 2021.

“As a Hamilton native, I’m really looking forward to introducing the community to our latest products,” Conacher said.

“We’ve chosen each cannabis brand for this store with the intention of offering popular strains and forms, but also with the goal of bringing exciting, new products for people to explore.”

While the new store is closed for in-store shopping it is currently open for curbside pick-up.
