New election; same results in Hamilton

The 2019 election might give Hamilton residents feelings of déjà vu, as the results are nearly identical to the results from four years ago.

The 2019 election might give Hamilton residents feelings of déjà vu, as the results are nearly identical to the results from four years ago.

Of the four ridings, Hamilton Centre and Hamilton Mountain voted NDP, while Hamilton East-Stoney Creek and Hamilton West-Ancaster-Dundas voted Liberal.

Additionally, of the four MPs elected, three of them are incumbents. Bob Bratina, who won the Hamilton East-Stoney Creek riding; Scott Duvall, who won the Hamilton Mountain riding; and Filomena Tassi, who won the Hamilton West-Ancaster-Dundas riding all won in 2015, while Matthew Green, who won the Hamilton Centre riding, is the lone newly-elected MP.
