New dessert shop to open at Square One in Mississauga

A new dessert shop is set to open up at the Food District at Square One in Mississauga.

The Happy Chocco, which specializes in éclairs and cream puff patisserie, will be having a soft opening on Saturday, Feb. 25, from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

A representative from Square One told insauga.com that the Happy Chocco will soon be a permanent spot at the Food District, so those who are unable to make it to the soft opening will have plenty of chances to check it out in the future.

The Happy Chocco is known for its sweet treats such as lemon, strawberry and golden chocolate éclairs, profiteroles, which are cream puffs with a sweet filling, Şekerpare, which are popular desserts in Turkish cuisine, traditional Turkish biscuits called acıbadem and more.

“We are proudly announcing the soft opening of The Happy Chocco,” reads a post on the Happy Chocco’s Instagram page.

“This coming Saturday, February 25th from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., the doors of The Happy Chocco will be open and welcome everyone into the store.”

To celebrate their opening week at Square One, the Happy Chocco will be offering guests 10 per cent off when they purchase six or more éclairs.
