Oakville and Mississauga residents will soon have one more tasty dessert location to satisfy that sweet tooth.

D Spot Dessert Cafe is opening a new restaurant on Laird Drive where Pier 1 Imports used to be across from the Costco.

The popular eatery was established in 2014 and has more than 20 locations across Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia with several more on the way.

“One of a kind and always delicious, the goal was to become the very best, compared to the rest,” D Spot Dessert Cafe says on its website. “Today, given our long lineups and social media worthy dishes we have decided to grow across Canada to satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth.”

The menu includes a wide variety of sweet treats from Ferrero Rocher® milkshakes, warm butter toffee cookies in a pan with a side of vanilla ice cream to Belgian hot chocolate.

Cake lovers can choose from the likes of red velvet cheesecake and pecan caramel cheesecake to a double chocolate brownie or white chocolate lava cake.

Pancake lovers can dig into the strawberry and cream cheese or cinnamon bun pancakes.

You can also sit down for a full meal with pizza, hamburgers and steak sandwiches on the menu.

“We’ll likely change the way you look at desserts,” the restaurant said. “Always a feast for the eyes, our continuing introduction of new taste sensations is the direct result of dedicated research into dishes and flavours from all over the world.”

D Spot Dessert Cafe already has two Mississauga locations, with one located in the Heartland Town Centre on 5955 Latimer Dr. Unit 4 and the other at 5165 Dixie Rd. Unit 7.
