New COVID outbreaks at Oakville hospital, Milton retirement home

A COVID-19 outbreak was declared earlier this week at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital.

Halton Region said the outbreak was declared on Sept. 14 on the “5 South Pod” area of the hospital.

The Region also reported another new outbreak this week at a retirement home in Milton.

The outbreak was declared Sept. 13 on the third and fourth floor of the Seasons Retirement Community, located at 760 Bronte St. S.

Halton Region is not reporting how many people were infected. There are currently 13 known and active outbreaks in the Region.
