A new condo project has opened registration for prospective buyers.

The Ann, a condominium planned for a block of land opposite the Port Credit GO Station, has set up a registration website.

“Inspired by the street that bears its name, The Ann is a modern residence on the park, where sleek design blends seamlessly into the vibrant character of Port Credit,” the website description reads.

There are few other details on the site, aside from the location.

But according to planning documents, the project is a 23-storey (including one mezzanine level), 359-unit residential condominium with retail space on the ground floor. The property sits between Ann Street, Hurontario Street, Park Street East and High Street East.

The addresses are 17 and 19 Ann St., 84 and 90 High St.E., and 91 Park St. E.

The developers, 10 West GO GP Inc., a partnership between FRAM and Slokker & Kilmer, first submitted an application to the city on Jan. 4, 2022 and resubmitted in November 2022 after taking feedback from city staff and the community under consideration.

The tower is designed by CORE Architects and will include a mix of one- and two-bedroom apartment units on the northwest corner of the site. The revised application includes five affordable housing units (there were none in the original proposal).

The public parkland area along Hurontario and High streets also increased from 2,492 square metres to 2,449.5 square metres.

Two heritage properties on the site at 84 and 90 High St. E. will be rehabilitated while maintaining their heritage value, according to a heritage report submitted as part of the application.

The building at 84 High St. E. will continue to be a six-unit rental apartment building, while 90 High St. E. may be re-adapted for commercial or office space.
