A new restaurant in Mississauga is serving up chicken wings and burgers at the same location as a popular diner.

Hungree Birdz has just opened at 360 Lakeshore Rd. W. in Port Credit expanding the current restaurant at the location, Maggie’s Diner, with evening hours.

Maggie’s Diner continues to open during the day – Tuesday to Sunday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. with all-day breakfast, lunch and desserts — and Hungree Birdz takes over after 4 p.m.

Burger lovers may want to check out Hungree Birdz this weekend (June 17 and 18) — they are offering a buy one burger and get one free for Father’s Day weekend.

The new spot is a “taste adventure…where flavours take flight.”

“Our restaurant offers a variety of delicious food options, including burgers, fries, wraps, wings, and tenders,” the owners say. “Our menu is designed to satisfy your cravings and leave you feeling satisfied. We take pride in using high-quality ingredients and preparing each dish with care.”

Burgers include beef, a cheeseburger, grilled or crispy chicken burgers and a veggie option. A new crispy, potato patty veggie burger is coming soon.

And they serve veggie, chicken or beef wraps.

Plus the menu includes three different types of wings – regular, buffalo and barbecue.

There are also chicken nuggets and tenders on the menu along with a variety of sides including fries, coleslaw and loaded fries.

For poutine lovers, there are three choices — classic, beef and chicken poutine.
