New cannabis store wants to open in west Burlington

An application to open a new pot shop in Aldershot is under consideration by the Province.

Hidden Leaf Cannabis wants to open a retail store at 181 Plains Rd. W., at Daryl Dr. and has an proposal currently in front of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.

Members of the public can object to the application for one of three reasons:

• Protecting public health and safety.
• Protecting youth and restricting their access to cannabis.
• Preventing illicit activities in relation to cannabis.
