New Burlington restaurant offers taste of Caribbean favourites

A new restaurant in Burlington is bringing a taste of the Caribbean to the city.

Palm Urban Caribbean Eats recently opened its doors and is bringing such Caribbean favourites as curry chicken, beef or goat, butter chicken, jerk chicken, and curry channa, potato and pumpkin.

Other favourites on the menu include stewed oxtail or curry shrimp, jerk chicken or steamed chicken on white rice.

The new restaurant also offers vegetarian and vegan options and is available for catering.

Located at 3241 Appleby Line, north of Dundas St., the restaurant is open Tuesday to Saturday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
