New Burlington restaurant features huge burgers and 13 creative poutine options

A new fast-food, family restaurant featuring classics like burgers and poutine is now open in Burlington.

Sam’s Grill is now open at 3017 New St., at the corner of Guelph Line.

Founded in 2011, the Burlington location is the sixth location of the popular, family-run business offering homemade food in a family environment.

“Our secret is no secret at all. It’s just hard work, friendly service and offering the best quality food at a fair price,” says the restaurant’s website.

On the menu are a wide array of burgers, poutine, chicken and fish, including gluten-free and vegetarian options.

Some of the more creative dishes include Halifax donair pita, Nashville hot chicken, and 13 poutine options, including Montreal smoked meat, chili, pulled pork and butter chicken.

Real ice cream milkshakes are made on site and come in chocolate, strawberry and mango.

Sam’s Grill is open Sunday to Wednesday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Thursday to Saturday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
