A new biryani restaurant is offering free food to celebrate its grand opening in Mississauga.

Noor’s Bhai Biryani is officially opening its first location at 17 Queen St. N. in Streetsville.

And to celebrate the grand opening they are offering free food for the first 501 customers from 4 p.m. onwards on Friday (May 26).

Noor’s has offered takeout food in Mississauga for the last several months — the speciality is wedding Chennai-style biryani. Chennai is a city on the Bay of Bengal in eastern India.

Biryani is a mixed rice dish usually made with Indian spices, vegetables, rice and meat. There are chicken, veggie and goat options on the menu at Noor’s.

“Be prepared to serve your taste buds with the best Wedding Style Chennai Biryani you can ever get in GTA!” Noor’s writes on their website.

Noor’s Bhai Biryani also offers roasted chicken, bread halwa, brinjal chutney, and sides of boiled eggs and onion raita.
