A new art exhibition has just opened at the Helson Gallery in Halton Hills.

The new exhibition called Le petit salon: Canadian Artists and Impressionism, traces the influences of French Impressionism during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

It features over 60 works by Canadian artists and is now on display at the Helson Gallery, located at 9 Church St. in Georgetown.

Paintings and prints from private collections have also been lent from the Helson Collection and will be included in the exhibition.

“The beautiful setting of the Helson Gallery is the perfect backdrop for this collection of Impressionist art and I hope people may find time to visit safely and enjoy this new exhibition,” said Mayor Rick Bonnette.

The exhibition will run from now until July 23.
