A new art exhibition is coming soon to the Helson Gallery in Halton Hills.

The new exhibition, called Collection Conversations, will open Wednesday (Feb. 23) and will feature selections from the Town’s Permanent Art Collection.

The show will continue until Apr. 24 and will examine the diverse movements that have shaped Canadian art history.

An annual exhibition of amateur and professional photography, organized and sponsored by the Halton Hills Camera Club, will also be available for viewing beginning next week in the Sisnett Lobby of the Cultural Centre.

Photoart 2022 will be on view from Feb. 28 to Apr. 3, where many of the photographs will be available for purchase.

“The Town of Halton Hills Cultural Centre affords artists an excellent venue for their work in both the Sisnett Lobby and Helson Gallery. I hope people find time to visit safely and enjoy these new exhibitions,” said Mayor Rick Bonnette.

“This is a great opportunity to explore our local arts and culture initiatives.”

The Cultural Centre is located at 9 Church St. in Halton Hills and is open Monday from 1:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Tuesday to Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

During the month of February, the Helson Gallery will be open Wednesday to Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. In March, the Gallery will return to its regular public hours.
