The Town of Halton Hills is seeking feedback on a new and improved skatepark that will be coming soon to Georgetown.

The Town is currently working with New Line Skateparks to replace the skatepark at Mold-Masters Sportsplex, located at 221 Guelph Street in Georgetown with a new community-sized skatepark.

As a result, residents are being encouraged to complete a survey to provide their input on the park’s design. This will be the first of three stages of the consultation process.

Based on the initial feedback, New Line Skateparks will then develop concept designs and a second consultation will take place later this fall.

A final concept will be developed based on the feedback which will be reviewed in the third consultation that is set to take place this winter.

The design will then be finalized and detailed construction drawings will be developed.

Construction is anticipated to begin in the spring with completion anticipated next summer pending approval of the 2022 Capital Budget.
