New 32-storey condominium complete in Mississauga

A new condominium has changed Mississauga’s evolving skyline.

Alba, a new 32-storey condominium Edenshaw development, is now complete, and homeowners began to move in December, continuing into this month, the company told INsauga.com.

The building at 1 Fairview Rd. E. is near Square One Shopping Centre, restaurants, grocery stores, Cooksville GO Station and the future Hazel McCallion LRT.

The development’s 418 residential units include four townhomes. The unit mix includes studios, one-bedroom, one-bedroom plus den, two-bedroom, and two-bedroom plus den suites, designed to accommodate a range of lifestyles, from first-time buyers to downsizers and families.

Included in the over 20,000 square feet of amenity space are a concierge-led lobby, co-working lounges and flexible workspaces, a demonstration kitchen, social gathering areas, a fitness centre, a yoga studio, children’s play areas, outdoor terraces, lounges and a pet spa.

The architecture emphasizes clean lines and layered forms, while the interiors balance warmth and functionality to create spaces that feel contemporary and comfortable, Edenshaw said.

“The curvilinear form of the tower has created rounded spaces within the suites, which allow for captivating vistas from sunrise to sunset,” Edenshaw said in an email to INsauga.com.

Alba offers new residents a walk through of their new homes to understand building features and systems, and feel confident as they prepare to move in.
