A new Harlan Coben Netflix thriller is filming in the Greater Toronto Area.

New York Times bestselling author Harlan Coben is known for his twisty thrillers. Netfix has adapted several—including Safe, Missing You and Fool Me Once—into limited series shows.

Several more novel adaptations are in the works—including one underway in the GTA, according to Hollywood Buzz North.

An adaption of Coben’s I Will Find You is filming in Toronto from April 21 to Aug. 29, according to the City of Toronto film site.

It looks like part of the filming is at the University of Toronto Mississauga campus this week. A social media post on Toronto Filming from X user @rhyslp_ shows a box with I Will Find You written on the side. The poster indicates there will be filming Friday and Saturday at U of T Mississauga.

The university also says there is filming scheduled on campus on April 30, May 1, 2 and 3 in Deerfield Hall and on Principal’s Road. The university doesn’t list the production name.

The eight-episode series I Will Find You follows the story of innocent father David Burroughs who’s serving a life sentence for murdering his son, according to Netflix’s Tudum. But when he receives word that his son may actually be alive, David must embark on a truth-finding mission that leads him out of prison and into a world of deceit and despair, the description reads.

Stars include Sam Worthington (Avatar, Terminator Salvation) as David Burroughs, Britt Lower (Severance, Man Seeking Woman) as Rachel Mills, a former journalist and David’s ex-sister-in-law, and Milo Ventimiglia (This is Us, Gilmore Girls) as Hayden, Rachel’s ex-boyfriend and confidant.

The cast also includes Logan Browning (Dear White People), Erin Richards (Gotham), Jonathan Tucker (Westworld) and Chi McBride (Hawaii Five-0).

Another post on X indicates the series will also film at Edward’s Gardens in Toronto. It’s not clear what other locations in the GTA may be used for the series.
