You are in luck if your fandom extends to visiting a site where, for instance, Elliot Page was standing in that one scene in “The Umbrella Academy.”

Netflix Canada has launched a website, called Netflix In Your Neighbourhood, which will allow fans to search for filming locations by searching for a film or series title or by province. It will also feature directions to filming locations.

The streaming-content heavyweight claims that its users are twice as likely to watch Canadian content as those who do not have Netflix, and that the first group are more likely to list Canada as a top travel location. Netflix

At this stage, the locations are limited to those used in seasons that have been released. The site shows six locations where The Umbrella Academy has filmed in Hamilton. For instance, Gore Park in downtown Hamilton was used to film an apocalypse. Other landmarks that have been used in the series include the Breezy Corners diner, Dundurn Castle and Hamilton City Hall.

Locations for seasons that are in production or are not yet released appear to be excluded. For instance, the supernatural horror drama “Locke & Key” has filmed in Hamilton, but the only locations listed are Lunenberg, N.S., and one city in Ontario. The next season of “L&K” is due to be released on Oct. 22.
