Nearly $500,000 in meth, opiates and cocaine seized from Oshawa home: police

Durham Police says it seized $480,000 worth of drugs from a home in Oshawa.

Officers suspected a local man of drug trafficking. On May 1, police raided his home near Glen Street and Porter Street. The intersection sits between the Oshawa Creek and Park Road across the street from the GM plant. They arrested a suspect on the scene and seized the drugs, along with some cash.

Ray Bond, 48 of Oshawa is charged with five drug trafficking offences and possession of unmarked cigarettes for sale. He remains in custody pending a bail hearing.
