After a chilly weekend, warmer weather is on the horizon for Mississauga and Brampton.
A frost advisory went out yesterday (Oct. 22) for the Mississauga, Brampton, Halton, and Niagara regions with temperatures anticipated to dip close to freezing.
Yesterday’s high was just above 11 C and the low nearly went down to zero at 0.6 C, according to Environment Canada. Today isn’t much warmer with a high of 12.2 C in the forecast.
But before winter weather sets in, it looks like southern Ontario is in for a few more milder days ahead.
The temperature could reach up to 20 C on Friday this week. And warmer weather, along with sunny skies starts tomorrow (Oct. 24).
Tuesday’s high is up to a balmy 18 C.
Although Tuesday is expected to be sunny, the rest of the week is looking cloudy with a chance of rain. But the temperature steadily increases reaching a forecast high of 20 C on Friday.
The average high for this time of year is about 12 C.
Sadly, the warmer weather isn’t expected to last for the weekend. Saturday’s forecast is for a high of 11 C and Sunday dips down to 9 C.
