For our readers who have never heard your music, explain your sound in 140 characters:

I’m a hip hop artist, but not like the mainstream! I’m more social/political with my lyrics and like to talk about issues which are relevant and pressing.  Although sometimes I also like to be simple and catchy.
Ten years from now your band will be….

I will still be a solo artist, signed or not, who knows! Maybe! To a Canadian label sure!

If you could go open up for any artist on tour right now who would it be?

Eminem in a heartbeat! That’s my main man right there. Got me through some tough days with his music.

So, what’s your favourite thing to do when you aren’t doing your music?

Playing some basketball! Been playing ball since I before I took up rapping! Just wish I was as good at it as I am with rapping though. #ballislife

What is your Mississauga connection?

Grew up in Sauga! Ever since I was like 9 years old! Know the city like the back on my hand.

What’s your favourite place in Mississauga to perform and why?

CELEBRATION SQUARE! Awesome stage space, Square One and City Hall in the back, fits 20,000 people COME ON. No better place than home… And between us citizens of Mississauga it totally beats Dundas Square, let’s be honest. We even have a skating rink!

Where do you draw inspiration from when you write your lyrics and what’s your favourite part about the process?

From what I see around me and how I feel. This could be an incident in my life that I feel strongly about, or a documentary I watched on child labour, a story I heard about bullying etc… It’s real and it speaks to me.

Who are your favourite musicians? Why?

Eminem, Immortal Technique, SHAD K, Classified, just to name a few. I like the way they use music as a outlet for their feelings and emotions as opposed to just being the general hip hop artist flaunting some commercialized riches they don’t even have. It keeps it real and powerful. That Lose Yourself kinda hip hop leaves a legacy while that Soulja Boy hip hop leaves one catchy hook.

What are five things you can’t live without?

My phone, my wallet, my mom (well all my family), Fruity Loops Studio, & chocolate milk. For real. Chocolate milk.

What’s the coolest gig you ever did? Why?

When I performed at Celebration Square for New Years Eve 2012, it was an amazing crowd, lots of talented local performers; The Mississauga Arts Council was behind it. Overall just great show and so much love for local talent. There’s a been a few other cool ones too, like when I performed with Danny Fernandes and Jully Black, but this was Celebration Square yoooo
