Multiple traffic lights out due to power outage in Mississauga

Peel police say officers are directing traffic at multiple intersections due to a power outage in the northwest part of Mississauga. 

Police say Alectra Utilities is investigating the outage.

According to Alectra’s website, the extensive outage is affecting approximately 1,405 homes and businesses in the Meadowvale area.

Police are asking commuters to follow instructions from officers directing traffic and to treat all intersections without officers as four-way stops.
