Multiple power outages in effect in Burlington: December 11

Multiple power outages are in effect in Burlington today (Dec. 11), owing to strong winds.

Unplanned outages have been reported in north Burlington and south of the New Street and Walkers Line area, according to Burlington Hydro.

“Please be patient as we investigate and make repairs in challenging weather conditions,” said the hydro company.

There is currently no estimate for when power will be restored.
