Multiple people ‘very seriously injured’ in collision along Toronto waterfront

Toronto police say several people have been very seriously injured in a collision between a flatbed truck and a car along the city’s waterfront.
Const. David Hopkinson says early reports of the Thursday evening crash suggest three people were not showing vital signs as they were treated by paramedics.
He says two pedestrians were also struck but police don’t yet know the total number of people who were injured.
Hopkinson says it’s too early to say what caused the collision.
He says all roads in the area have been closed as police investigate.
