Multiple food products, childrens’ clothes recalled from Mississauga and Brampton stores

Multiple products have been recalled from stores in Ontario this week (Feb. 7 to 13) due to potential health and safety risks, including stores in Mississauga and Brampton.
Residents are advised to check if they have these products at home and avoid using or consuming them out of caution.
The following products are affected:
Searay brand Sauerkraut Fish (Szechuan Style) Spicy and Sauerkraut Fish (Golden Soup)
Risk: The products may contain milk which is not listed on the label.

What you should do: Residents with a dairy allergy or lactose intolerance should check if the product can be returned to the store it was purchased from.

Risk: Drawstrings on children’s upper outerwear can become caught on playground equipment, fences, or other objects and result in strangulation, or in the case of a vehicle, the child being dragged.
What you should do: Consumers should immediately remove the drawstring from the children’s upper outerwear to eliminate the hazard. Consumers may also return the item for a refund.
Childrensalon Ltd Children’s Sleepwear
Risk: The products do not meet the flammability requirements for children’s sleepwear, posing a potential burn risk.
What you should do: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled children’s sleepwear and contact Childrensalon Ltd to obtain a refund.
Stance Kids Reiny Szn Mid-Cushion Crew Socks
Risk: The bells on the socks may detach posing a potential choking hazard to young children.
What you should do: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled socks and contact Stance Inc. for instructions on how to return the product for a store credit.
