Multiple COVID-19 cases reported this week at Mississauga grocery stores

Metro reported this week that a number of employees at their store locations recently tested positive for COVID-19, including some locations in Mississauga.

The following cases were reported at Mississauga grocery stores:

  • Adonis, 2651 Stanfield Road – Positive COVID-19 test of an employee. The employee’s last day of work was January 12. Metro was notified on January 17.
  • Adonis, 1240 Eglington Ave. West – Positive COVID-19 test of an employee. The employee’s last day of work was January 14. Metro was notified on January 18.
  • Adonis, 2651 Stanfield Road – Positive COVID-19 test of 2 employees. The employees’ last day of work was January 14 and 15. Metro was notified on January 19.
  • Adonis, 1240 Eglington Ave. West – Positive COVID-19 test of 2 employees. The employees’ last day of work was January 9 and 12. Metro was notified on January 20.
  • Adonis, 2651 Stanfield Road – Positive COVID-19 test of 2 employees. The employees’ last day of work was January 16 and 19. Metro was notified on January 20.

“When we are notified of a case of COVID-19, we contact when required Public Health authorities and always follow their guidance to ensure the safety of our colleagues and customers,” says Metro.

“Out of respect and for confidentiality reasons, we will never release any personal information about persons who are infected.”
