Multi-vehicle crash on QEW in Oakville shuts down lanes, causes major delays

A serious crash on the QEW near Bronte Road is causing major delays for west-bound drivers in Oakville and Burlington.

The multi-vehicle accident, which occurred in the west-bound lanes at approximately 1 p.m., has resulted in the closure of the three left lanes.

Both Halton Region paramedics and the Oakville Fire Department are on the scene.

Drivers are being asked to find alternate routes if possible.
