Much-loved chicken shop moving back to Brampton after a year in Mississauga

The Chicken Shop is nearly ready to open its new location in a return to Brampton after more than a year in Mississauga.

The Maple Lodge Farms Chicken Shop moved from its 8175 Winston Churchill Blvd. in Brampton just down the road to a temporary location on Argentina Road in Mississauga last year.

The temporary move to Mississauga is coming to an end, as a new Chicken Shop and Maple Lodge Farms facility is opening next month at the old Winston Churchill Boulevard in Brampton.

Maple Lodge Farms says the new Chicken Shop and facility will have an eat-in and takeout restaurant, a new retail space and bulk factory outlet sales, and an outdoor seating area with green space.

“Thank you for your continued support at our temporary location, but it’s almost time to return home,” the Maple Lodge Farms website reads.

The temporary Mississauga location will close on Dec. 8, and the new Brampton location will open on Dec. 9.

Maple Lodge Farms has been an institution in Brampton for some 50 years.
