Mountainside rec centre getting revitalized outdoor pool for Burlington residents to enjoy

The revitalization of the outdoor pool at Mountainside Recreation Centre is in full swing.
The 50-year-old facility will undergo an extensive upgrade over the winter and is expected to reopen by next summer.
The plan is to create a new, attractive, fun and welcoming multi-use outdoor swimming pool that invites the local community to experience an active and healthy lifestyle.
Among the amenities included in the revitalization are:
- A new pool with a beach entry and three 50-metre lap lanes
- Accessibility ramps
- Water spray features
- Climbing wall
- Waterslide
- Shade structures
