Motorists face delays due to road closures, filming in Hamilton 

Hamilton motorists can expect traffic disruptions as a result of roadwork and filming in some areas of the city from July 6 to 11.

Filming will affect the following streets today and tomorrow (July 7).

• July 6: 1001 Hwy 5 W., between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m. 
• July 6: 200 Harbour Front Drive, between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m. 
• Jul 6 and 7: 175 Longwood Road S., between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m. 

Kim Adrovez, acting manager of creative industries and cultural development, says the City doesn’t publicize the projects filming “out of respect for the privacy and security of residents in the neighbourhood.”

In addition, a nightly road closure will affect John Street from Main Street to King Street on July 10 and 11 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. because of repaving work. King Street will be reduced to one lane. John Street at Jackson Street will have lane restrictions.
