Motorcyle racer airlifted to hospital after high speed crash at CTMP in Bowmanville

A motorcycle racer is on his way to a Toronto trauma centre after crashing into the wall at high speed at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park today.
The rider was first transported to Lakeridge Health Bowmanville before AirOrnge took him to Oshawa Airport where he was airlifted to Toronto.
There is no word yet on the rider’s condition or the circumstances of the crash, but many of Canada’s top motorcycle riders are in town for this weekend’s Canadian Pro Superbike Championship.
