UPDATE: Motorcyclist suffers serious injuries in Brampton crash, roads closed

A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in an early morning crash in Brampton.

Emergency crews responded to the single-vehicle crash at Williams Parkway and McLaughlin Road North just before 6 a.m. today (June 6), Peel Regional Police said in a post on X.

The crash left the motorcyclist with serious injuries, police said.

All westbound lanes between Williams Parkway and Murray Street were closed.

All eastbound lanes between Williams Parkway and Royal Orchard Drive were closed.

Police asked drivers to use alternate routes.

Update: Just after 10 a.m. Peel Regional Police said the motorcyclist is in stable condition. The westbound lanes between Williams Parkway and Murray Street reopened around 10 a.m. Eastbound lanes between Williams Parkway and Royal Orchard Drive reopened around 11:30 a.m.
