Motorcyclist struck by vehicle in early evening collision in Brampton

A motorcyclist was struck by a vehicle in an early Thursday evening (May 30) collision in Brampton.

The crash occurred just before 6 p.m. at the intersection of Hurontario Street and Petworth Drive.

The extent of any injuries is not yet known.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene after the collision.

Peel Regional Police are on the scene and expected to soon provide updates of any possible road closures.

Police are encouraging drivers to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
