Motorcyclist rushed to hospital after crash in Mississauga

A motorcyclist was injured in a crash in Mississauga on Sunday night.

Emergency crews responded to the collision involving a motorcycle and a vehicle on Winston Churchill Boulevard near Laird Road just before 10 p.m., Peel Regional Police said.

The motorcyclist was taken to a trauma centre, police said.

The driver remained on scene.

In an update at 1:40 a.m., police said the motorcyclist was in stable condition.

Lanes on Winston Churchill were closed, but have since reopened.
