Motorcyclist, passenger seriously injured in Fort Erie collision

A segment of Hwy. 3 in Fort Erie is expected to be closed until late Wednesday evening for a serious collision investigation, police say.
Around 4:30 p.m., the driver of a motorcyle and the driver of a sports-utility vehicle collided on Hwy. 3 between Centrella and Baker avenues. The 59-year-old male motorcyclist and a 53-year-old female passenger were seriously injured and were transported to hospital by air ambulance. The driver of the SUV received minor injuries.
The highway is closed between Centrella Avenue and Baker Avenue, and is expected to remain so until midnight.
