Motorcyclist killed after collision with truck in Mississauga

A man riding a motorcycle was killed after colliding with a truck in the north end of Mississauga this afternoon (April 27).
Peel Regional Police have closed roads in the area of Matheson Blvd. E. and Kennedy Rd., south of Hwy. 401, after the two vehicles collided at that busy intersection just before 2 p.m.
Police say the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. They haven’t yet released the man’s name, age or where he was from.
The Peel police Major Collision Bureau is on the scene and investigating the fatality.
Police say it’s too early in the investigation to reveal specific details surrounding the collision.
Police are telling motorists to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
