Police are searching for a motorcyclist who could be hurt after crashing their bike in Mississauga this afternoon (April 25) before fleeing the scene.

Peel Regional Police don’t have much information about the incident, tweeting only that a “single motorcycle (was) involved in a collision” at North Sheridan Way and Springbank Rd., near the QEW, just after 2 p.m.

Police said in an email to insauga.com that it was “a single-vehicle collision where the rider appears to have lost control.”

The motorcyclist fled the scene, according to police, who add that “concerns exist for (the) well-being of (the) rider.”
