Motorcyclist in life threatening condition following a collision in Mississauga

A motorcyclist is fighting for his life following a collision with a car in Mississauga this evening (Sept. 19).
Peel Regional Police arrived on scene at Vega Blvd. & Dundas St. W. around 8:51 p.m., following reports of a collision involving a motorcycle and a car.
The motorcyclist, whose identity has not been disclosed at this time, was found in life-threatening condition and immediately transported to a nearby hospital.
As a result of the accident, Dundas St.W. has been temporarily closed in both directions from Highway 403 to Ridgeway Dr.
Authorities are urging commuters to seek alternate routes of travel.
The circumstances surrounding the collision are currently under investigation, and details regarding the cause of the accident remain limited at this time.
