Motorcycle rider killed in 2-vehicle crash; police search for witnesses

Investigators are asking for witnesses to come forward with information after a man was killed in a crash between a motorcycle and a car in Brampton.

The collision happened around 3 p.m. when police say the driver of a motorcycle crashed with another driver in the intersection of Hurontario Street and Wanless Drive.

Police said the motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries in the crash and was rushed to hospital, but the man was later pronounced dead.

Investigators now say the deceased driver was a 50-year-old male.

The driver of the car remained at the scene of the crash and police had roads closed for hours while investigators worked to determine what led to the crash.

Now police are asking for help from witnesses or anyone who may have been in the area around the time of the collision.
