Demonstrations shut down major roads in Mississauga.

Peel Regional Police attend the scene of a collision involving a motorcycle in Brampton.

Police say they received a call around 8:45 p.m. last night (July 15) about reports of a collision in the area of Sandalwood Pkwy and Glover Gate.

Officers discovered the injured, adult male driver of the motorcycle upon arrival.

He was transported to hospital where he remains in non-life-threatening condition.

Police say no one in the vehicle was injured.

Eastbound Sandalwood was closed at Glover Gate while emergency services responded.

The roadway has since reopened.

Peel Regional Police reminds motorists that “warm weather brings out the motorcycles.”

Be alert for motorcycles when driving and check blind spots when making lane changes and turns.
