Motorcycle crash sends one man to hospital and closes busy road in Brampton

A motorcyclist has been rushed to hospital and police have closed a stretch of Airport Road following a serious crash in Brampton.
The collision happened in the area of Airport Road and Williams Parkway in Brampton shortly before 11 a.m. on Friday (Oct. 13), says Peel Regional Police.
Police say a motorcycle and a car crashed and the adult male rider of the motorbike was seriously injured in the collision.
The man has been rushed to hospital and police say the driver of the car remained at the scene of the crash. No other details about the victim or his injuries were immediately available.
The crash has led police to close the northbound and southbound lanes of Airport Road between Williams Parkway and Maritime Ontario Boulevard. Police are asking drivers to stay clear of the area while investigators are on the scene and find alternate routes if possible.
