Motorcycle and car crash in Brampton leads to road closures

The driver of a motorcycle is fighting for his life in hospital after colliding with a car near a busy intersection in Brampton this afternoon.
Peel Regional Police say the crash between the two vehicles took place near Chinguacousy Road and Burt Drive, shortly after 12 p.m.
The driver of the car stayed at the scene, while the motorcycle driver was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. Currently, there are no updates on his condition. Any other information regarding the victim’s identity has not been released by officials.
The cause of the accident is unknown at this time.
Authorities have closed off the area impacted by the collision for further investigations.
