Motorcycle and car collide in Mississauga; one person rushed to hospital

A motorcyclist has been rushed to hospital after a two-vehicle collision in Mississauga’s north end on Friday morning.

The crash involving a motorcycle and mid-sized car took place on northbound Creditview Road, just north of Britannia Road West, at around 9:30 a.m., according to reports from the scene.

One person, the motorcyclist, was taken to hospital with unknown injuries, Peel Regional Police told INsauga.com.

Police added the driver of the car remained on the scene and was not injured.

Police have closed northbound Creditview Road in the area of the collision for their investigation.

Mississauga firefighters and paramedics also responded to the scene of the collision, police said.
