Motorbike caught going 100 km/hr over speed limit in Mississauga

A motorcycle rider will be forced to find other forms of transportation after they were caught traveling almost 100 km/h over the speed limit in Mississauga.
Peel Regional Police stopped an individual on a motorcycle after they were clocked traveling 149 km/h in a posted 50 km/h zone.
Members of PRP’s Safer Roads Team reported the excessive speeding incident around 4:30 a.m. this morning (Aug 27) but do not specify the location where the traffic stop occurred.
The driver faced an immediate 14-day vehicle impoundment and had their license suspended for 30 days.
Police say the driver also has an upcoming court appearance scheduled.
