Most expensive homes sold in Mississauga come with wine cellars and beautiful backyards

Some of Mississauga’s most expensive homes come with luxury features such as wine cellars and beautiful backyard pools.
The real estate market is tough for most people these days. Despite a decrease in prices, the average price of a detached home was $1,439,735 in September in Mississauga. And the Bank of Canada interest rate hike has made purchasing a home more expensive.
But it appears that multi-million dollar homes are still selling. To see some of the most expensive homes sold, real estate brokerage Zoocasa complied a list.
Here are the most expensive homes sold in Mississauga in September:
2210 Robin Drive

Located in the Sheridan area, this custom home has approximately 3,500 square feet of living space with nine-foot ceilings on the main level. The place boasts a spacious living room with hardwood floors, crown moulding and a double-sided fireplace.
There are four upper level bedrooms with hardwood floors throughout and three upper level bathrooms.
This home sold for $2,135,000 on Sept. 22, just under the asking price of $2,198,000.
2435 Jarvis Street
Situated on the bank of the Credit River, this luxury custom home has a “sprawling” layout with multiple fireplaces. The home has views of nature and a 5,000 square-foot, finished basement with above grade windows.

This home sold for $2,700,000 on Sept. 26, below the asking price of $3,068,000.
1865 Featherston Drive

This large, two-storey home has five bedrooms and is located on a cul-de-sac not far from the University of Toronto Mississauga.
The 5,500-square-foot home has a beautiful backyard with a pool flanked by majestic pines.
This place sold for $3,400,000 on Sept. 14, just under the $3,498,800 asking price.
579 Bob O Link Road

This French country style home is located near Rattray Marsh. It is situated on a mature, treed 100-foot by 160-foot, lot which is steps to the lake.
Features include custom iron staircases, granite countertops, Jatoba hardwood throughout, a finished basement with heated floors and a backyard pond.
This place sold for $3,600,000 on Sept. 7, under the list price of $3,750,000.

The most expensive home sold is near the lake in Port Credit. This home has a modern, open-concept living and kitchen area and large, bright rooms.
There is a wine cellar in the basement, a large space for a gym and a backyard pool with a bar and patio space.

This home sold for $3,825,000 on Sept. 12, under the $3,998,800 list price.
