Mosquitoes with West Nile Virus found at intersection in northwest Brampton

A batch of mosquitoes collected in Brampton has tested positive for West Nile Virus according to Peel Public Health.

Collected the week of August 8, the batch was collected near the intersection of Chinguacousy Rd. and Williams Parkway.

The best way to prevent mosquitoes from breeding is to remove any stagnant water near your home or business.
