Morning Power Outage Affecting Over 1,000 People in Mississauga

A power outage is affecting over 1,000 people in Mississauga.

Alectra Utilities recently announced that an ongoing outage is affecting 1,316 homes and businesses in the Britannia Rd and Hurontaio St E and Hurontario to Kennedy area.

Alectra says power is also out from Bristol Rd W to Eglinton Ave W and Mavis Rd to the Fallingbrook Dr area. 

Crews have been dispatched.

Power should be back shortly before noon.
