Morning accident on QEW in Oakville sends person to hospital, closes three lanes

One person has been sent to the hospital after a collision Thursday morning (Sept. 15) on the westbound QEW in Oakville.

The crash happened at approximately 9:15 a.m. on the westbound QEW near the Bronte Rd. HOV lane.

The incident left the three left lanes blocked and traffic was heavy from Ford Drive through most of the early morning.

A short while after only the HOV lane remained blocked, before the collision was fully cleared around 10:30 a.m.
